Compassion Meets Action

Supporting adolescents and young adults through life’s transitions isn’t just my work, it’s my passion. For the past 20 years, I’ve served as a CPS school social worker, working with students from Pre‑K through age 22. That experience has given me a deep understanding of the challenges today’s youth face, including trauma, bullying, identity development, academic pressure, and complex family dynamics.

As an LCSW and C‑SSWS, I created this practice to offer the kind of comprehensive, individualized support that isn’t always possible in a school setting. I specialize in working with middle schoolers, high schoolers, young adults up to age 30, and the families who walk alongside them. My background in school systems allows me to bridge the gap between home, school, and mental health in a way that helps young people feel understood and supported.

My therapeutic style is down‑to‑earth, straightforward, and deeply compassionate. I’m warm and nonjudgmental, but I also believe in honest conversations that lead to real change. My goal isn’t to simply talk about what’s hard; it’s to help you understand it, work through it, and build the skills and confidence to move forward.
